Megan Lindeman is an artist and a professor. She mixes paint and pigments with oxytocin. Oxytocin is a hormone and acts as a neurotransmitter in the brain and is involved in a lot of complex brain behavior like bonding and trusting.
All This, 2019, is hand bound book made with 100% handmade rag paper and purple linen fabric. The book includes a total of 15 pages; five double-sided, folding drawings made from colorful pigments mixed with hormones on paper; five collages made from colorful pigments mixed with hormones on paper and color inkjet prints; and five poems printed on vellum. All This also includes a oxytocin glass vile fitted in a matching handmade purple box.
